AEW FC was formed in 1980 by Dennis Fitzgerald and Tess Gallen and is proudly affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and London Youth. We are in the process of obtaining FA Charter status. We have our own home ground and clubhouse at Hillcrest Road, Ealing. You may appreciate that it takes an enormous amount of dedicated hard work, and that many parents, adults and young players volunteer their time for the youth of today. This dedicated team, which we have on board, has allowed our club to grow from strength to strength. Just under 200 children enjoy playing for the Whistlers today.

Our mission is to give children to opportunity to come and play football in a warm, friendly and fun-filled environment as well as being an active member of the local community.

As a football club, AEW FC have achieved many honors over the years. Our mission is simply to give kids a chance to play football, be part of a friendly club and get the point across to all the players that whether they win, lose or draw – it is of paramount importance to have fun, enjoyment, make friendships, play as a team and be a good sports person. Success comes from building team spirit not only on the pitch but also off the pitch. We believe we can, and do, offer this at AEW FC.
